Well, here we go the start of HRH Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee begins, I have started to get into the festive mood by putting up the obligatory bunting and already it feels like a party atmosphere! If you are like me and watch everything that is Royal on the TV at the moment you will definitely be in a happy and party mood. I have attached some photo's of the entrance hall and dinning room so you can take a look, I promise for those who are not such a Royal fan it is not that much over the top! I am really looking forward to a busy weekend as the B&B is full, the sun is shining and there are lots of events happening all over Weston-super-Mare this weekend so come on down you don't know what your missing!!

Roedean Guest House is Back on the Blog!
Well it has been a while since my last Blog, but life gets a bit busy when running a Guest House, but I will endevour to keep you all updated on what is happening at Roedean Guest House from now on.
We have signing up with a new Booking Agent called Queensborough and we have been with them for 1 year now, this is our 3rd season that we have been open, but this year has been a slow start because of the rain and bad weather for Easter. Last year at the same time we had fantastic weather and not forgetting the wonderful Marriage of HRH Prince William to Catherine Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge on 29th April 2011 which brought the nation together and brought the people an extra holiday.
However the weather has now changed and summer has officially started here in Weston-super-Mare, we are looking forward to HRH Queen Elizabeth's Royal Diamond Jubilee commencing 2nd June 2012 and again we have an extra days holiday.
We are offering our guest a right Royal deal if you stay for 3 Nights or more you will receive a 10% Discount, a great saving with a promise of great weather. Where you would be paying £75.00 per night you will get it for £67.50 per night but you must book for 3 Nights to be in with a great saving! Commencing from 1st June until 5th June so get in quickly to secure your bookings.
The greatest boost for our business is that we pride ourselves on the high standard of our Guest House and this is of the opinion of our wonderful guests, we have had some brilliant reviews and complements off our client which really boost's you personally and tells me we are doing an good job.

Tripadvisor has just advised us that we have been Awarded a "Certificate of Excellence 2012" for Roedean Guest House. This comes from being on the top Rating of Trip Advisor for the last year. I am very proud of this fact and en devour to keep us there! I would like to Thank all of our Guest for taking the time out to rate our property and we look forward to your return. We also look forward to this summer and all the new people that we shall meet and hopefully have them return to us year after year.

Certificate of Achievement for Guest House of The Year 2010
Hi All
Well, loads have been happening in the last few months the most important thing is that Roedean Guest House have been advertising in the Insight Magazine which is been distributed all over the Midlands and our issue went to the NEC for a Holiday and Hotel show were I am hoping we had thousands of people viewing our very fabulous Guest House and promoting holidays in the UK.
Also we have been chosen out of this magazine to be the winner of an Achievement Award, for "Guest House of The Year 2010" for all our hard work, in our New, well presented, clean and tastefully decorated, friendly Guest house.
We have receivied the Certificate which is attached, so we can proudly hang it on the wall in our Guest House and I have posted the copy of the article on our blog so everyone and read it.
We are looking forward to the summer season for on the 30th June 2010 is the re-opening of the New renovated modern Grand Pier, which I think the whole of Britain will be coming to witness it's re-launch. The promenade at the sea front with it's granite seating, sets off the new look. We still have the fountain to complete in front of the Pier but Rome wasn't built in a day!! When all is done Weston-super-Mare will be the hottest UK holiday destination in the country, with Roedean Guest House beings the hottest place to stay, so get booking to secure your place!
